Photo Found in an Unusual Place
My first cousin's wife called me early last week and said that she'd found Uncle Richard Larpenter's photo in her phone book. At first I thought she'd found a photograph that someone had stuck into the phonebook but she said that it was part of the phonebook.
I've never seen anyone's photo in a phonebook ad before, much less have known them. This is very rare.
Uncle Richard, one of dad's older brothers, is pictured at the Farmer's Market in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He went there a lot but I'm not sure if he's selling the peaches are just sitting with them.
Uncle Richard passed away July 17, 2006. I would love to get a real copy of this photo. I may have to contact St. Tammany Tourism and Convention Commission.
